Sunset
This series is quite a nice complement to earth tones, as is the natural sunset in the natural world. When off, the Sunset shades display a dry grass color with soft red and coffee brown accents. When turned on the background color is washed away when the sunset red and orange emerge, creating a warm fire-like glow.

The shape of I created for this series is the "crowned bell", which has four rounded points on the rim and four clear glass 'splashes' around the lower body to add sparkle and a handmade touch. I also make Sunset shades in a "ruffled" shape which adds a nice fade through gold to an irridescent green at the opening, due to the stretching of the rim in the last few seconds of the forming process while the glass is molten.
