Directions
From Colorado Springs, 2 hours -
through Cañon City -
Take I-25 south to the last exit for Academy Boulevard (exit # 135).
Right onto Academy, in about a mile, turn Left onto Colorado Highway
115.
Follow 115 to Penrose, and take US Highway 50 West towards Cañon
City.
As you enter Salida, watch for the first turn to the right, which is
onto Colorado Highway 291 west.
Follow Highway 291 west into town. At traffic light, park.
Sunlight Studios is 1/2 block west of the traffic light.
From Denver, about 3 hours
from I-70/I-25 interchange -
High Country / Good Weather:
I-70 west to I-470 South to
US Highway 285 two and a half hours into the mountains - turn left (you
can only turn left) onto Colorado Highway 291, and follow it 8 miles
into downtown Salida. Park within a block of the traffic
light.
Sunlight Studios is 1/2 block west of the traffic light.
Or, in questionable weather, take I-25 to Colorado Springs, and then
follow Colorado Springs directions. This route takes about 15
minutes
longer from central Denver.
